Justin Geathje and Conor McGregor have never really seen eye-to-eye on anything.

Sure, Conor once congratulated “highlight” after one of his impressive knockouts, but the two men have gone at each other’s throats on social media.

And having Ali Abdelaziz as Geathje’s manager doesn’t help things out.

Through it all, however, Gaethje, the current interim Lightweight champion of the UFC, will give McGregor his props for doing what no one else ha done in the sport.

I na recent interview on ESPN, Justin also says McGregor is already a legend of the fight game.

“He’s a legend man. Whatever he did was legendary status and I’ll never take that away from him. He deserves credit and he’s accomplished so much in this sport, what every fighter wants to attain. So hats off to him and I can’t wait to punch him in the face.”

Geathje will face Khabib Nurmagomedov later this year in a title unification match, likely in September.
It was believed that McGregor would then face the winner, but “Notorious” recently shocked the world by announcing his abrupt retirement.
