Conor McGregor recently got into an online media tussle with UFC president Dana White over leaked text messages between the two.

That prompted Conor to bash White for lying about turning down fights.

Dustin Poirier, meanwhile, was recently accused by White of talking his way out of a fight against Tony Ferguson at UFC 254 by asking for more money, leaving the two sides at odds, as well.

As a result, McGregor and Poirier have decided to book a fight against one another, and it has nothing to do with UFC.

Conor continued:

“December 12th in the Point depot, Ireland. No weigh ins.  Open weight, unified rules. I will arrange all travel fare for you and family. McGregor Sports and Entertainment MMA, in association with The Good Fight Foundation.”

Poirier was all for it:

Perhaps no so coincidentally, Dec. 12 is the date for UFC 256, which will feature a two-title fight card as Kamaru Usman faces Gilbert Burns, Amanda Nunes faces Megan ANderson and Jorge Masvidal will face Colby Covignton.

Somewhere in Las Vegas, an irate Dana White is punching big time air.

If you recall Conor McGregor defeated Dustin Poirier at UFC 178.
