Despite what some people may lead you to believe otherwise, boxing is alive and well.
Not only are the heavyweights going strong with the likes of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Doentay Wilder and Andy Ruiz, Jr, but Canelo Alvarez is still the king of kings when it comes to lighter weight classes.
Alvarez will next face super middleweight champion, Billy Joe Saunders, who is 29-0 with 14 knockouts to his credit.
The fight is set to go down on May 2, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada for Joe’s title.
While Saunders is a talented fighter, he has yet to face a boxer like Canelo, whose knockout power makes opponents tremble.
He even moved up to light heavyweight in his last fight for a bigger challenge, knocking out Sergey Kovalev in the eleventh round.
Now, Alvarez will look for another title and win number 54.
