Conor McGregor has accepted Dana White’s proposed date of Jan. 3, 2021 to face Dustin Poirier.

McGregor was hoping to return to action in 2020, but Dana White stated that promotion’s schedule was already full for the remainder of thear.

As a result, White locked down a date of Jan. 23, 2021, which will be UFC’s first PPV event of the year.

It will be a year since Conor last competed, knocking out Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 this past January.

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, hold up to 90,000 people, but due to the ongoing pandemic, it will only be able to accommodate half of that amount.

If not, the Las Vegas, Nevada will likely be the destination.
