Conor McGregor recently tried to set up a charity fight between he and Dustin Poirier.
But now it seems the fight is going to be a real one, and inside the UFC Octagon.
After Dana White caught wind of McGregor and Poirier’s plans to fight outside of the company for charity, he offered both men a real fight.
A few weeks later, McGregor has accepted the offer.
That means he is ready to return as soon as next month, if not in December.
“Hello Dustin! I accepted the UFC offer to fight you, but told them it must happen in 2020. I’m ready for Nov 21st, given that cards recent injury issues, as well as any of the December dates, the 12th and the 19th. I’ll also still donate the $500k to The Good Fight Foundation.”
Conor sticking to his word.
“Notorious” defeated Poirier at UFC 178 way back in 2014 in what was Conor’s fourth fight for the promotion.
Six years later, the bout has just as much — if not more intrigue — than the first.
