After Conor McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier via second round technical knockout at UFC 257, the MMA world took to social media to react to the stunning outcome.

Among the many who posted messages on Twitter and on Instagram was Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor’s biggest rival.

“The Eagle” took to Twitter to criticize McGregor for switching camps for his big return about after news surfaces that “Notorious” spent a lot of time training in Portugal.

“This is what happened, when you change your team, leave the sparring partners who made you a champion and sparring with little kids, far away from reality.”

Of course, the common talk around the water cooler is that Khabib rarely acutally posts on his social media account, and that it’s his manager Ali Abdelaziz who posts comments such as these. Nevertheless, it caught Conor’s attention and challenged Khabib to a do-over.

“If he wants to have his disrespectful comments, come back and let’s go again, my man,” McGregor said. “I’m here for it. That’s fighting talk. If you’re coming back, come back. You try and do it. That’s that.”

Do you think we will ever get to see these two run it back?
