Pop sensation Justin Bieber recently — for whatever reason — took to social media to call out Tom Cruise to a fight inside the UFC Octagon.

Yes, seriously:

“I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon,” wrote Justin. “Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite ?”

Upon catching wind of that bizarre call out, Conor Mcgregor took it upon himself to call out another Hollywood A-lister: Mark Wahlberg.

“I challenge Mark Walhberg on the very same card,” proclaimed Conor. “Back when mark wahlberg was marky mark, I’d’ve still slapped the ears off him and took my ufc shares back.”

What is going on here?

If you recall, “Notorious” recently called out mark to a fight for his UFC shares, as the Hollywood mega-star is one of many celebrities who were able to get a minority take in the promotion.

That is something Conor has been gunning for, though he was promptly shut down by Dana White.

Nevertheless, McGregor can now potentially be a part owner of UFC without having to fight Wahlberg, as UFC recently took the first steps in becoming a publicly-traded company.
