Whether you love or hate Conor McGregor, this next move has to be applauded.
The former UFC champ-champ and his partner, Dee Devlin, took it upon themselves to be very generous with their money this Christmas.
According to a charity group in Dublin, Ireland, Inner City Helping Homeless, Conor and Dee donated €25,000 ($27,000) worth of toy vouchers so that children in need could get gifts.
“Thank you so much to @thenotoriousmma and @deedevlin1who kindly donated €25,000 of Smyths Toys vouchers to us to distribute to families at our Santa’s Grotto at the #FillanXmasTruck event and to families we supported in the run up to Christmas.”
“We appreciate the kind donation of the vouchers and sponsoring the Santa’s Grotto allowing us to help make children’s Christmas more special. Happy Christmas everyone.”
Of course, Conor is known for being generous with his fortune. “Notorious” recently donated $1 million of his profits from Proper No. 12 to first responders
Before that, though, Conor funded a very expensive project that helped build eight homes for homeless families in Ireland.
And if you think Conor is doing this for publicity, think again.
Nowhere on his social media was there post related to this. In fact, had it not been for the charity’s post, no one would have known.
McGregor will look to return to his winning ways when he faces Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on Jan. 18, 2020 in Las Vegas.
If you were planning on attending live, good luck trying to find tickets as they sold out in a matter of minutes.
There is always pay-per-view (PPV).
