Conor McGregor and Frankie Edgar have both expressed their desire to face off against one another in the past, but now it seems to be getting a bit more serious.

After “Notorious” took to social media to wish Edgar a happy birthday, he took the chance to call out “The Answer” to a fight. Naturally, Edgar was quick to say yes.

As a result, Conor once again took to social media, this time pleading with UFC president Dana White to make the fight happen. To sweeten the pot, Conor said he’d donate his entire fight earnings to charity.

“I know I’m supposed to go down to bantamweight,” Edgar told TMZ Sports. “Obviously, I would delay that for the McGregor fight. We can do it at welterweight. He’s going to be bigger than me no matter where we fight at, so I’m game. I’ve kind of been trying to watch my weight a little bit now that bantamweight’s coming, but I wouldn’t mind pouring some pounds on now.”

Now it remains to be seen if the higher-ups at UFC cave and make this fight happen. If it does, then one lucky charity will reap the benefits that come with Conor McGregor’s huge fight purse.
