A day after it was announced that Conor McGregor donated $1 million of his Proper No. twelve profits to Tunnel To Towers Foundation, he is being praised.Frank Siller, who is the bother of Stephen Siller, the man who the foundations is named after and the firefighter killed during the World Trade center attacks trying to save lives, had nothing but good things to say about Conor’s gesture.
“What we do as a foundation is that we relieve the mortgages of the first responders who died in the line of duty that have young kids left behind,” said Siller to TMZ.
“So, this will go to many, many houses, depending on what part of the country it is — but that’s what Conor wanted.”Siller even offered up an emotional personal message to explain what his donation will mean to many wifes, husbands and kids who have lost their loved ones in the line of duty.“Conor, you’re gonna change the lives of many great heroes and the families left behind.”“You’re telling them that people care, that America cares””And, that if somebody goes out there and gives their kids a kiss goodbye and doesn’t come home, Conor McGregor is gonna make sure that those families are taken care of.”“Thank you and God bless you, Conor.More donations are set to be made around the world in the coming months.
