After Andy Ruiz shocked the boxing world with his seventh-round knockout win over Anthony Joshua, the entire sports arena took to social media to react to the upset.

Among them was Conor McGregor, who took the time to congratulate Ruiz for taking all three heavyweight boxing titles from the previously-unbeaten Joshua.

I know first-hand the toughness of the Mexican chin,” explained Conor, referencing his two fights again Nate Diaz.

“They come up off the floor like something out of thriller. It is never over until it’s over with the Mexicans. God bless them. Congrats Andy Ruiz.”

The thrill of seeing Ruiz pull off the upset perhaps gave Conor even more confidence to say he can defeat Floyd Mayeather in a rematch.

“Boxing is great, I am going to relish another go! I challenge Juan Manuel Mayweather to a rematch,” said Conor. “Under the tutelage of my old club. We’ll see then mate.”

Mayweather’s camp has already stated they’d be down for a do-over, all that is left to do is really sit down to iron out all the details.

Of course, that fight — if it happens again — likely won’t be this year, as “Notorious” is primed to make his MMA comeback before he steps into a boxing ring again.

If not against Mayweather, Keith Thurman is more than willing to tango with McGregor.
