Paul Felder and Conor McGregor have been going at it over the last few weeks.
After McGregor knocked out Paul’s good friend, Donald Cerrone, at UFC 246 a few weeks ago, “Notorious” called out Felder, who was sitting cageside.
More recently, “Notorious” took the time to slam Felder, who goes by the moniker of “The Irish Dragon,” for not actually being Irish.
While Felder was not born in Ireland, his parents are indeed Irish-American.
A fight between the two men would be an interesting one to say the least.
That said, if we are being honest, Felder does not carry the BIG name Conor is looking for in order to sell fights.
Nevertheless, if Felder can deliver this Saturday when he faces James Vick at UFC Auckland in New Zealand, he could make a case for himself.
But it’s not like McGreor is lacking a shortage of opponents who are desperately trying to fight him.
Most likely, Conor will face either Khabib Nurmagomedov or Tony Ferguson for the lightweight title sometime in the summer.
If not, there is always a big-time showdown against “BMF” champion, Jorge Masvidal.
Furthermore, the possibility of a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz is still lingering, as is a title fight against Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
And did we mention that Justin Gaethje is also trying to get a piece of McGregor?
Indeed, when you’re the king, everyone is coming at your head.
