Conor McGregor may know how to ruffle a feather or two, but “Notorious” also has respect for several fighters in the game.

Among them is Joseph Benavidez, who will fight for the vacant flyweight title later tonight at UFC Fight Night 169.

That’s why McGregor took time out of his schedule to send “Joe Jitsu” his support ahead of his fight against Deiveson Figueiredo in Norfolk, Virginia.

The 125-pound division was said to be dismantled last year.

But after Henry Cejudo was stripped of the title, UFC opted to book Benavidez and Figueiredo for the strap.

However. Deiveson missed weight, making him ineligible to win the title.

That means only Benavidez can become champion, Should Deiveson win, the title will be vacant yet again.
