Khabib Nurmagomedov is currently stuck in Russia due to the coronavirus pandemic.

President Vladimir Putin recently shut down the borders and grounded all flights, preventing Khabib from flying out of the country.

That said, he still doesn’t know where UFC 249 will take place.

Nevertheless, his scheduled title fight against Tony Ferguson which was set to go down on April 18, seems to be cancelled now for a fifth time!

Of course, Conor McGregor couldn’t let the opportunity pass him by to slam his rival for bailing.

“The fact of this matter is, both Tony and Khabib where engaged in a game of chicken here towards the fight bell,” McGregor wrote on Twitter.

“With Khabib chickening out first. Making it 3-2 in pullouts in Tony’s favor. Khabib scurried out of the U.S to home, and amid the crisis. Very high risk. Congrats Tony.”

Indeed, five times this fight has been booked and five times cancelled.

And it’s a shame, really, as it is one of the most-anticipated title fights ever.

Nevertheless, this time around neither Tony or Khabib can be blamed, as COVID-19 has taken its toll on the entire planet.
