Former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, is set to hold a special press conference in Moscow, Russia, on Thursday October 24, 2019.
Recently, “Notorious” posted a picture of himself applying for a visa in what seems to be a Russian consulate.
“McGregor will meet with reporters on October 24,” according to a press release posted on TASS.ru (via The Mac Life). “This is the first such event involving McGregor in Russia. Perhaps he will make statements about his imminent return to the Octagon.”
Of course, while the money-making irishman will be there on business other than fighting, as he is there to be an ambassador of online sports betting site Parimatch. That said, once reporters start asking questions, everything is fair game.
Indeed, Conor likely won’t escape without being asked a bevy of questions regarding his past legal troubles and fighting future.
And as we have grown accustomed to, once Conor has reporters and mics in front of him, it truly is must-see TV.
We will make sure to pass along the video of the press conference once it becomes available.
