For as long as anyone can remember, Justin Geathje has been anting to fight Conor McGregor.

In fact, after Justin knocked out Donald Cerrone in 2019, many expected him to be the one to welcome “Notorious” back to the cage.

In a cruel twist of fate, the big-money fight was given to “Cowboy” — the man who lost — as opposed to Gaethje, who has three straight knockout wins.

So you can understand Justin’s frustration. And Conor does too.

But He may soon get what he wants, as McGregor says he may just fight Geathje straight after defeating Donald at UFC 246.

“He’s on the list. He is on the list,” McGregor said of Gaethje in a recent interview with The Mac Life.

“Maybe I will face him next. Maybe I’ll face him next, you know? He has it coming to him. I mean laugh at how Justin is behaving. He’s a funny guy.”

“He’s been taking it very to heart, you know? And I know the feeling when you do that. So maybe I’ll get through Donald and I’ll have a quick turnaround against Justin,” he added.

“So maybe that’s what will happen. But Justin is on the list, no doubt.”

Of course, that may not be the case.

That’s because Conor is in lien for a title fight if he beats Cerrone.

Plus, he is also going to be on standby to fill in if either Khabib Nurmagomedov or TOny Ferguson get injured prior to tiher fight at UFC 249.

Nevertheless, Conor will be a very busy man in 2020, as he also as Jorge Masvidal on his list, as well.
