UFC president Dana White has gone on record to say that the contracts have been sent out to Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier to fight on Jan. 23, 2020.
That’s the good news.
Now for the bad news: McGregor wants the fight to happen in the Welterweight division (170 pounds). Something Poirier is up for.
Dana White, however, is not feeling that fight at 170 pounds whatsoever. He recently told BT Sport that the fight will happen at 155 pounds or not at all.
