Conor McGregor once admitted that he was drinking alcohol the week leading up to his title fight at UFC 229 in October of 2018 against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
It was a fight he lost via submission.
Now, “Notorious” recently dropped a bit of a nugget insinuating that he may have been drinking the night before.
After Joe Rogan expressed his excitement for the title fight between Khabib and Justin Gaethje for UFC 254 in October, saying Justin was Khabib’s most dangerous opponent ever, McGregor decided to chime in.
He did so by simply saying, “Chill bro, I’d a hangover,” suggesting he may not have been at full strength in the fight due to his alleged drinking the night before.
Upon seeing that, Khabib himself chimed in hours later, teasing “Notorious” that he would never get his rematch.
He did so by saying that after he fights Geathje in October, he plans on fighting Georges St-Pierre in 2021.
