Adesanya won the title after knocking out Robert Whittaker at UFC243 last October. He wa set to face Paulo Costa, but an injury forced the hulking Brazilian to the bench.
Interestingly enough, Romero is coming off two defeats, so how the promotion justified that title shot is a mystery.
Nevertheless, Romero is one of the most talented and dangerous fighters in the game, and Adesanya asked to fight him personally.
This one should be a barn-bruner!
