Three months to go till the The UFC’s annual New York City card, which is scheduled for 2 November at Madison Square Garden – and it’s not yet been determined by matchmakers who will headline.
Michael Bisping, former UFC middleweight champion, says he has the perfect idea.
“That’s the fight to make if I’m honest” Michael suggested a Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor rematch. Also saying that Conor’s gotta get back in the winning circle.
“The Notorious” would be returning after a loss, and Bisping thinks winning against Aldo will put him back on track.
Bisping also said: “Aldo and McGregor, the buildup to that fight was huge, it ended amazingly in 13 seconds and well done to McGregor. I think people would love to see that because a lot of people feel that Aldo could do better in the rematch. And that’s definitely a very winnable fight for Conor. Of course, we saw what happened the first time, the second time who knows what’s gonna happen? But it’s a very winnable fight.”
Thanks to undefeated featherweight Alexander Volkanovski, Aldo too is coming off a loss.
