People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is taking aim at Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone for a couple of jokes they told during a recent press conference.

“Cowboy” wore a slick-looking jacket that was apparently made of python to the press conference, one which Conor admired.

Furthermore, Cerrone also wore rattlesnake boots, as well.

The two had a friendly back-and-forth about Donald’s attire, though they both admitted that PETA might be on the lookout for them.

“I’m sure PETA might be here because I got rattlesnakes on and python.” said Cerrone.

“They have a warrant out for me as well, PETA, they’re coming for me, too,” joked Conor.

Soon thereafter, PETA took to Twitter to slam the two fighters.

Hi @TheNotoriousMMA and @CowboyCerrone! You’re right! We ARE here—to remind you that only COWARDS would brag about wearing an animal who was likely beaten & skinned alive.”
“Why don’t you knock out your insecurities and only wear your OWN skin?” Here is a closer look at Cerrone’s jacket in question courtesy of the designer.
This isn’t the first time PETA has attacked McGregor, as they once chastised him for his love of all things mink coats. What do you think of PETA’s reaction? Was it warranted?
