UFC is finally headed back to Ireland!
The promotion announced via social media that it would be staging an event in Dublin on August 15 of this year.
Tickets are set to go on sale on June 26, and they are expected to go fast.
“We kicked off the year with a phenomenal comeback from Conor McGregor at UFC 246, and now we are thrilled to announce our return to Ireland after four-years,” said UFC Senior Vice President, International and Content, David Shaw.
“With Irish fans among the most passionate UFC supporters in the world, and Dublin being such an iconic global city, we can’t wait to put on another world class event for our fans there.”

The UFC has not been back in Ireland since 2015.
Prior to that, it staged an event in 2014, which was headlined by Conor McGregor knocking out Diego Brandao.
If the event does become a Fight Night event on ESPN+, Conor will not compete on the card as his services are reserved for PPV events.
Nevertheless, you can expect a lot of his teammates to compete on the card, and he will obviously be in attendance.
UFC Fight Club members will gain early access to tickets on Wednesday, June 24, and newsletter subscribers on Thursday, June 25.
