Of all the things a fighter has to worry about before a fight, making weight is top priority, as missing weight can have an impact on a lot of things.
For starters, a fighter will be deducted up to 30-percent of the fight purse. Secondly, a fight can be canceled altogether.
So staying strict with diet and workouts its crucial! But what if you have breast implants?
Well, believe it or not, that is a reality when it comes to women’s MMA, and UFC’s strawweight champion is concerned.
But not for her, she is worried that Joanna Jedrzejczyk will miss weight for their fight on Saturday March 7 at UFC 248.
That’s because Joanna recently got a breast augmentation procedure done, which could have an impact on her making the 115-pound limit.

If Joanna fails to make weight their title fight will be turned into a three-round non-title bout.
Furthermore, commissions like the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) are very strict with that sort of stuff.
Back in 2017, Pearl Gonzalez was nearly forced out of the fight in Buffalo New York at UFC 210 due to her breast implants.
The commission has it in its guidelines that a fighter with breast implants may not be medically cleared to fight for fear of a rupture.
She was allowed to fight.
Now, we have to wait to see if Joanna makes weight this Friday in Las, Vegas, Nevada.
