Dillon Danis, who is best known for being one of the best submission specialists in the world, as well as Conor McGregor’s jiu-jtisu coach, was recently the victim of an attack in New York City.
According to Daily Mail, Danis was minding his own business at a club in “The Big Apple” when an assailant sucker-punched him, prompting Dillon to swing back.

No reported arrests were made an Danis appeared to escape unscathed. But as he told ESPN insider Ariel Helwani, it’s “Just another day in the life of Pablo.”
Pablo is a moniker he stamped on himself, for whatever reason.
Danis is 2-0 so far in his young mixed marital arts (MMA) career, going perfect inside the Bellator MMA cage.
“El Jefe” was last seen submitting Max Humphrey at Bellator 222 last month, in what was pretty much a one-sided fight, leading many to call for a step-up in competition for Danis.
Dillon has been training with McGregor over the last few years now, helping the irishman prepared for all of his MMA fights since 2015 and the two men have forged a tight bond.
In fact Danis has even absorbed the beef Conor has with several fighters including Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
