Conor McGregor is without a doubt the biggest star mixed martial arts (MMA) has ever seen.
As the biggest box office attraction in the game, Conor commands his way to everyone’s sight once he steps foot into a room.
But it was a long road for “Notorious” to get to where he is today.
Recently, footage surfaces of Conor making his official amateur debut 13 years ago.
In the clip below, McGregor scores a vicious standing knockout of Kieran Campbell on February 17, 2007.
McGregor vs Campbell. It was only right that my debut mixed martial arts fight was against a Campbell. The McGregors have been fighting the Campbells since the highlands. Sworn enemies at a time. Nothing at this time.
It showed me then that the path I was on, was correct. ⚔️

Conor has score many knockouts since, and has made history along the way.
He most recently made his return back to action last month, knocking out Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds at UFC 246.
He is hoping to return sometime this summer, perhaps against the winner of the upcoming lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.
